Is it really the hair soft and shiny? Is this a good alternative to the iron and hairdryer?

I have and I'm from the Philippines, which does not really work as an advertisement, I am having a hard time with the hair all tangled every time you, a few hairs that should not with a brush in a kind of chain ... haay a waste of money, but I do occasionally, or if you hear anything from my husband.
